Diaconate Mission and Caring
For those who don't know, haven’t been, been wondering or don't know anything
about it.....
Throughout the season (April - October) on the 3rd Friday of each month we gather around outside behind the church for our "Friday Firepit Fellowship". Around 6pm we enjoy a hotdog dinner complete with chips, a cold soft drink or water, and roasted
marshmallows and s'mores for dessert. We have invited our friends from First Baptist Church - Dayton to join us. It is a great way to relax after a hard workweek. The fellowship and discussions are so amazing and inspiring that sometimes it is midnight
or after before we even know it! Of course, you can come and go as your schedule
allows, but we would love for you to join us if you can make it. If the weather doesn't
cooperate for a campfire, we still gather for games and fun in the fellowship hall. Come
one, come all, there will always be room at our table for you!
Notes from the church secretary:
It has been 3 or 4 years since our church directory has been updated. In the next few weeks, Susan will put together a form for you to fill out with your current contact info so that we have all that up to date. If you don't plan to be at church during the month of May, please send your name, address, phone number, email address to the church at
dlabc@att.net, or call Susan Sinks on her cell at (937)430-7320 with that information so
that you can be included.
In the last couple of months, Susan has moved some things around in the office. If you are looking for something in the office and are not sure where it is, feel free to ask.
