ABWM News
All women are invited to join in our tour and volunteer work at Hannah's Treasure
Chest on Tuesday April 1 at 10:30 A.M. If you want to carpool to the site, please
meet at DLABC parking lot at 10:00 a.m. HTC is now located at 2490 Technical
Dr. in Miamisburg. They serve families in 20 counties. We will get a tour of the
new facility and help with a volunteer project. Then we will dine out. If you have
any questions, contact our coordinator for the event, Bev Scarpelli.
Women will meet at 9:30 on April 29 to work on craft supplies in our lower level.
We will be reviewing what supplies can be sold at a June sale.
Christian Education
Our annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place April 12th at 2:00 PM. There will be
snacks, the Easter story, and lots of eggs. Invite your friends and family! I’d like to
encourage all members of the church to come help out and welcome the
community. We will be collecting new underwear during this event for the
nonprofit Underpants for All who provides new underwear to those in need.
Men’s Fellowship
The men’s fellowship meets for lunch at 11:00 am on the 2nd Friday of the month, at the Bob Evans on the corner of Linden and Woodman. It’s a wonderful time to meet and discuss, and Pastor Bob Heizer gives heartfelt prayers for all. It’s a blessing Bob is sharing his pastoral gifts for the Men’s Fellowship. All are welcome to join.
